Describe Their Appearance Though Sara has many flaws that she could quickly point out, she takes much pride in them and believes that they are what individualizes her. The fact that she is confident in herself gives her an advantage in a crowd; she has an uncanny ability to attract attention to herself, and she knows how to take charge no matter what the situation. She enjoys being in the spotlight, and her ultimate weapon, her eyes, allow her to easily intimidate others.
Personality
In General Sara is quite a smart woman and takes pride in that fact. She will only be open about herself if a stranger offers intelligent conversation in return. She has a low level of tolerance toward those who think they can outsmart her when they clearly know nothing. She gets a good chunk of thrill from a good conversation and absolutely adores riddles. Sara has found that games of the mind are one of her favorite forms of entertainment and likes having to figure them out. This also means that she hates when things are spoiled for her, as she'd prefer to figure them out herself.
Despite the fact that she can be bitter toward others at times, she's not a mean or hateful person. In fact, she's generally accepting of everyone as long as they don't try to put her down or act completely oblivious to her. Sara has a lot of patience with everything except for people, mostly because she knows how certain types of people can waste her time. She loves to question everything around her, as it's the main way she can figure out mysterious people and things. She also likes to sit back once in a while and just watch whatever is in front of her, not worrying about the stupidity of others and just allowing herself to admire the world.
She hates when others put her down or doubt her abilities, though she knows sometimes she has to prove herself to others. She gets frustrated if she isn't given a chance or her ideas are ignored, for she knows that she can handle a lot. In situations where there is a lot of pressure, she can usually handle herself unless she knows that it is impossible to succeed. She usually approaches a situation at all angles, which allows her to reach a positive outcome rather quickly.
Attitude Toward...
...travel. Sara is, needless to say, an explorer. It's not just countries she's after; her travels include encounters with others and various discoveries, both physical and of the mind. Sara knows that anything is out there, and her dream is to discover anything and become known for it.
...music. Although she already speaks two languages, she sees music as a universal language and can use it to communicate to those who she cannot talk to. Sara feels at peace with the world when at the piano or holding a violin in her hand. She enjoys the feeling she gets from entertaining others.
Attitude Toward...
...secrets. Sara hates when things are kept from her because she knows that she can handle practically anything. Though most of the time she can figure things out on her own, she completely accepts the fact that she doesn't know everything. This doesn't stop her from pursuing knowledge.
...stupidity. There's nothing Sara hates more than people who assume they know everything about her or anything else. Though she gets some enjoyment from contradicting them, she is usually left frustrated and confused about how one person could lack so much common sense.
All The Little Things
Personal Effects Sara knows how to play a total of 4 instruments extremely well, which include Piano, Violin, Guitar, and Ukulele. She also knows how to sing and speaks Polish fluently.
Quirks or Habits Sara has a habit of talking badly in front of people if she dislikes something they say or sees a flaw in them. However, she always makes these comments in Polish so no one ever knows what she's saying.
Extras None.
History Sara was born in the state of New York to parents who had immigrated there straight from Poland. Her parents didn't speak much English, though they knew enough to allow them to work simple jobs. Sara's life was quite uneventful up until the age of 8, where she first took a liking to music. At that time her parents started a thrift store and someone had brought in an antique piano. Although her parents did their best to keep her away from the 'product' so that she did not damage it, Sara seemed to show exceptional ability on the instrument despite the fact that she had no lessons. She scrounged around the shop and managed to find a set of sheet music for the piano, and she slowly began teaching herself how to play. She took much interest in every instrument that came through the doors of her parents' shop, learning violin by age 12 and guitar and ukulele by 16. She would perform outside of the shop during the summer to promote it for her parents, which seemed to help the business expand.
Sara's musical abilities got her through high school and college, but even with her passion set she still wanted to know more and explore other options. It was around her sophomore year of college that she took a liking to photography and architecture, particularly old buildings. She decided to travel across her country and 'live of the land,' per say; she hopped from motel to motel, raising money by performing on the streets and sightseeing. The experience helped her to see the world through a new perspective, and she was absolutely thrilled by the new knowledge she had gained (although her parents weren't extremely thrilled about it).
Thrilled with the discovery of her love to explore, Sara eagerly enrolled herself in a class that would sponsor a trip to England for two semesters. So far, Sara has been in England for a month, and she already adores it. She hasn't told her parents that she plans on settling down there yet, and with their judgmental attitudes, she's unsure of how she would even be able to tell them. Then again, what they don't know won't hurt them, and Sara has found that that's the easiest approach when it comes to her parents.

"Sara, Sara! You've got to come see this!" At the sound of her voice, Sara wanted to immediately jam plugs into her ears. Even though daylight was shining through her windows, Sara still felt the urge to curl herself up in her bed and continue sleeping. However, her roommate had other plans; she always had other plans. As Sara yanked the sheets back over her head, she could feel them being whisked right off of her bed. "Sara, c'mon! This is just incredible!" Well, she figured, if she wasn't going to get the sleep she desired, she might as well give in. Letting out a groan of defeat, Sara kicked her legs up and swung her body around so that her legs were left dangling off of the bedside. The woman rubbed her eyes and let out a yawn, still quite bothered by the rude awakening. "Sara!" Her roommate, a foreign exchange student like her, stood by the window farthest from their beds, motioning for Sara to approach. Lazily, the brown-haired woman picked herself off of her warm bed and trudged over to where her roommate was holding back the curtains. Once Sara was at her side, she was able to point out the thing she had been freaking out about.
"See that? Right across the street? The blue phone box. See it?" The other seemed quite eager about nothing, as it was just a simple phone box. "It's quite a phenomena, don't you think?" Normally Sara would have mused her, but to be honest she was not in the mood, especially after the rude awakening. "All I see is a plain old phone box, Alena." Sara gave a shrug. After all, it was the truth. But her roommate was quite persistent. "No no, Sara. It's not just a 'plain old phone box'! You see, I've been reading up about the British back when our trip was first announced. I covered everything from history of the Queens all the way up to culture! This phone box is quite different, strange even..." Before she continued, Sara fortunately cut her off. "Just cut to the chase." Now just a bit curious about this phone box, Sara looked out the window again and stared at the roof of the strange structure. It appeared normal, so what was so strange about it?
"You see Sara, police boxes like those were once scattered all throughout England! But that's just the thing. They were scattered. You rarely see one like that anymore, and in such good condition none the less!" That was it? Waste of time. Sara moved her hand from the drapes, allowing them to fall back into place. She picked her blanket up from the floor where Alena had left it and headed over to her bed. "Waste of my time," Sara mumbled, nearly back in sleeping position. However, her roommate was far from finished. "Strange though, how it just appeared there this morning!" That was enough to stop Sara. Already lying down, she sat herself straight up, only able to utter one word. "...what?"
"Yeah, it wasn't there yesterday. Do you recall seeing a police box like that sitting outside of our hotel? I certainly don't." Sara's roommate moved away from the window and headed to the bathroom to get dressed. Sara would have remembered seeing something like that last night. Why didn't she? Unless Alana was right. Sara stood once again and slowly moved back toward the window. She opened the drapes just a bit, allowing her to peek out at that mysterious phone box. She watched it and the people around it passing by. Why didn't they notice? Perhaps because they chose not to notice. Sara glanced away for a brief moment to contemplate the idea. Ignorance could certainly be a theme for her next paper. When she looked back outside, she just caught the heel of a stranger entering the box. Within seconds, a strange sound caressed her ears and the box slowly faded away. She stared, puzzled, at the spot where the box had once rested. Now what sort of phone box just...disappears?
